Latest Sheriff's Office Arrests, Incidents Reported (2024)

The Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents and felony arrests between Nov. 24 and Dec. 22.

Arrests

•Harlin David Shipman, 50, was arrested for one count of possession of a schedule II controlled substance on Dec. 6. He was placed in the county detention center under a $6,000 bond.

•Andrew Douglas Brooks, 32, was arrested for one count of possession of a schedule II controlled substance on Dec. 7. He was placed in the county detention center under a $5,000 bond.

•Hunter Quinn Shipman, 23, was arrested for one count of failure to appear, one count of larceny after breaking and entering and one count of burglary/breaking and entering on Dec. 8. He was placed in the county detention center under a $14,000 bond.

•James Darin Sick, 51, was arrested for one count of intimidating a state witness on Dec. 8. He was placed in the county detention center under a $8,000 bond.

•Wayne Edwin Pittman, 50, was arrested for three counts of obtaining property by false pretenses on Dec. 11. He was placed in the county detention center on Dec. 11.

•Christine Bradshaw Faries, 47, was arrested for three counts of obtaining property by false pretenses on Dec. 11. She was placed in the county detention center under a $2,000 bond.

•Kevin Gary Gillespie, 51, was arrested for one count of possession of a schedule I controlled substance on Dec. 12. He was placed in the county detention center under a $2,200 bond.

•Joshua Dale Estes, 33, was arrested for one count of larceny after breaking and entering and one count of breaking and entering on Dec. 13. He was placed in the county detention center under a $15,000 bond.

•Shenandoah Lynette Middleton, 53, was arrested for one count of possession of methamphetamine on Dec. 13. She was placed in the county detention center under a $20,000 bond.

•Andrew Douglas Brooks, 32, was arrested for one count of possession of a controlled substance in jail premises on Dec. 13. He received a $10,000 bond.

•Bianca Ann Forbes, 26, was arrested for one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of aiding and abetting larceny on Dec. 13. She was placed in the county detention center under a $6,000 bond.

•Tracy Catherine Briggs, 49, was arrested for three counts of uttering a forged instrument on Dec. 20. She was placed in the county detention center under a $10,000 bond.

•Lisa Yeomans Morgan, 42, was arrested for one count of failure to appear on Dec. 14. She was placed in the county detention center under a $50,000 bond.

•Stephen Allen Bulluck, 29, was arrested for one count of possession of methamphetamine on Dec. 16. He was placed in the county detention center under a $5,000 bond.

•Juan Thomas Rodriguez, 34, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine on Dec. 16. He was placed in the county detention center under a $5,000 bond.

•George Lee McCall, 58, was arrested for one count of maintaining a place for drugs on Dec. 18. He was placed in the county detention center under a $5,000 bond.

•Jose Raul Gutierrez, 36, was arrested for one count of possession of a stolen firearm and possession of methamphetamine on Dec. 19.

He was placed in the county detention center under a $7,000 bond.

•Gladys Cleveland Huerta, 33, was arrested for one count of possession of a stolen firearm and one count of possession of methamphetamine on Dec. 19. She was placed in the county detention center under a $7,000 bond.

•Curtis David Morgan, 39, was arrested for possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a controlled substance on Dec 19. He was placed in the county detention center under a $12,100 bond.

•Sean Trevor Aiken, 33, was arrested for one count of failure to appear on Dec. 20. He was placed in the county detention enter under a $18,000 bond.

•There was a report of a recovered stolen vehicle on Hendersonville Highway in Penrose on Dec. 1.

•There was a report of cyber stocking and aiding and abetting on Warrens Cove Road in Lake Toxaway on Dec. 1.

•There was a report of destruction/damage/vandalism of property on Talley Road in Brevard on Dec. 3.

•There was a report of destruction/damage/vandalism of property on Millbrook Drive in Brevard on Dec. 3.

•There was a report of burning of personal property on Flat Creek Valley Road in Lake Toxaway on Dec. 3.

•There was a report of all other larceny on Myrtle’s Cove Road in Balsam Grove on Dec. 3.

•There was a report of a recovered stolen motor vehicle on Shady Oak Drive in Brevard on Dec. 3.

•There was a report of theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories at the ride-share parking lot in Rosman on Dec. 4.

•There was a report of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, operating a vehicle with no insurance, failing to register a vehicle and fictitious registration plate on Whitmire Road in Brevard on Dec. 6.

•There was a report of larceny on Old Railway Path in Brevard on Dec. 6.

•There was a report of obtaining property by false pretense on Greenville Highway in Cedar Mountain on Dec. 7.

•There was a report of injury to real property on Adventure Ridge Road in Brevard on Dec. 8.

•There was a report of speeding to elude arrest on Rosman Highway in Brevard on Dec. 8.

•There was a report of credit card/ATM fraud on Shannons Bluff in Brevard on Dec. 8.

•There was a report of cyberstalking on Dec. 10.

•There was a report of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, and driving a motor vehicle with no registration on Old Rosman Highway in Brevard on Dec. 10.

•There was a report of larceny, destruction/damage/vandalism of property and first degree trespassing on Asheville Highway in Brevard on Dec. 11.

•There was a report of possession of drug paraphernalia on Frozen Creek Road on Dec. 11.

•There was a report of an accidental gunshot wound on Old Hendersonville Highway in Pisgah Forest on Dec. 12.

•There was a report of possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Horsepower Hill in Brevard on Dec. 12.

•There was a report of burglary/breaking and entering, possession of drug paraphernalia and aiding and abetting larceny on Rosman Highway in Brevard on Dec. 13.

•There was a report of theft from motor vehicle on South Grey Fox in Rosman on Dec. 13.

•There was a report obtaining property by false pretenses on Blackberry Lane in Brevard on Dec. 13.

•There was a report of credit card/ATM fraud on Golden Road in Lake Toxaway on Dec. 13.

•There was a report of theft from motor vehicle on Donald McCall Road in Balsam Grove on Dec. 13.

•There was a report of false pretenses/swindle/confidence game on Connestee Trail in Brevard on Dec. 13.
