Subtitle and audio are available in many languages for most titles. If they aren’t available in a language, it may be due to:

Your profile Language Settings

The movie or TV show you're trying to watch

The device you're trying to watch on
Netflix shows 5-7 relevant languages on TV and TV-connected devices based on your location and language settings. For iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and web browsers, you’ll see all available languages for a title. For downloaded titles, Netflix displays the 2 most relevant languages.
Note:
If you're connected to WiFi while watching a TV show or movie that you've also downloaded to your device, only the 2 most relevant languages will be shown as subtitle or audio options. To display more languages, delete the download and then try choosing the subtitle or audio again.
Subtitles or audio may not be available in a desired language for specific titles because of content licensing and show agreements.
I don't see the language option I want for subtitles or audio
If subtitles or audio aren’t available for a particular language, you can:

Choose the language in theShows & Movies Languagessettings for the profile you're using and tap or click Save.

Visit netflix.com/browse/subtitles or netflix.com/browse/audio to browse and watch movies and TV shows by subtitle or audio language.
Why can I see subtitles or audio for one season or episode, but not another?
Some TV shows may have different sources for each season's subtitles or audio. In some cases, languages for seasons that Netflix has offered prior to 2018 may not be available.
If a TV show is licensed and episodes are released weekly or on a rolling schedule (following the original network broadcast), language options for subtitles and audio will be available when they're completed.
Subtitles don't display for some languages
If subtitles for a title are offered in a language but do not display on your device, try another device. The Netflix app may not support subtitles for some languages including Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Romanian, or Vietnamese on devices manufactured before 2014, but most newer devices do support them.
Note:
Use 2014 as a general guide for when devices began supporting these languages. There may be devices manufactured after 2014 that don't support them.
