Mental Health

University of IowaStead Family Children’s Hospital provides a full range of mental health services to children and adolescents. Our mental health staff members offer services ranging from outpatient care to acute inpatient treatment. Services include medication management, educational consultation and testing, psychological testing, individual therapy, and family counseling.

Pediatric Sleep Clinic

The Pediatric Sleep Clinic at University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, and young adults who have sleep disorders.

Tic Disorders

Tics can be motor (sudden, rapid movements of the hands or legs) or tics can be vocal (frequent throat clearing or grunting). Motor tics and vocal tics can occur separately or at the same time.
