Taylor Swift has drawn a lot of attention — and massively increased NFL viewership — since she first appeared at a Kansas City Chiefs game to watch Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce play in late September.
Swift and Kelce's relationship naturally led NFL broadcast crews to set up cameras outside the vicinity of her suite so they they could pan to her throughout the game. Shots of her celebrating big plays for the Chiefs (especially when Kelce had a hand in it) become something of a recurring feature in the league's broadcasts.
Call it the "Taylor Cam," if you will.

Regardless of what it's called, it wasn't entirely well received in the 2023 NFL season, with detractors saying it took away from the football playing out on the field. The issue became a massive talking point throughout the NFL playoffs, especially leading up into the Super Bowl, where Kelce's Chiefs eventually faced off and beat the 49ers, 25-22, in overtime.
But, according to a report from Awful Announcing, Swift didn't see a ton of air time from CBS's Super Bowl broadcast. She was shown for 54 seconds during CBS the broadcast, accounting for less than 1% of the four-hour game. The four-time Grammy winner appeared on the screen 12 times throughout the contest, not including pregame or postgame.
Swift's limited air time during the Super Bowl follows a trend in recent games for the 34-year-old music star.
During the Chiefs' AFC championship game win over the Baltimore Ravens, Swift appeared for for just 44 seconds throughout the broadcast. According to several reports, after noticing the camera panning on her on the TV above her in her suite, Swift asked for the cameras to go away.
Swift is set to resume her Eras Tour later this week in Melbourne, Australia — where cameras surely will be trained on Kelce, should he make an appearance.
