Marvel fans’ best look at Harrison Ford’s transformation into Red Hulk has led to the usual mixed opinions online. Since the first trailer for Captain America: Brave New World delivered the first teasing confirmation of Red Hulk’s presence in the movie, fans have been clamoring to get a better look at what Ford’s Thaddeus Ross will actually look like as his angry alter-ego. Now they have their answer.
As part of a new Marvel Studios teaser, which also features fleeting glimpses of Daredevil, the Thunderbolts team and more, Ford’s Red Hulk gets a whole five-second slot that shows him rising up in front of The White House as previously described from footage shown at San Diego Comic-Con. While the full footage will no doubt appear in the next trailer for the upcoming February release, you can see if in the clip below.

However, the reveal did bring the usual divided opinions, ranging from those who love that Red Hulk is finally in the MCU, those who have no idea that a Red Hulk even exists, and one person who just has an issue with Red Hulk nipples. You can see a selection of the wide-ranging reactions below.
Harrison Ford is Ready for His Marvel Journey
Harrison Ford is one of those stars who will act like an old curmudgeon in interviews, and is always ready to give a brutally honest response to questions he doesn’t find particularly worth his time. However, he has also been around long enough to know when to play the game, and that is exactly what he is doing in Captain America: Brave New World.
Taking over the role of Thaddeus Ross from the late William Hurt, Ford doesn’t seem like the type of person who would have much interest in being part of the big Marvel machine, especially when weighing up some of his recent comments about his Star Wars return in the sequel trilogy. However, while appearing at SDCC, Ford suggested that he had seen other older actors having fun in Marvel movies and just wanted to “have a piece of that.” Speaking to Variety at that time, Ford was asked about how he coped having to hulk out in motion capture on set. He said:
"It took not caring. It took being an idiot for money, which I've done before. I don't disparage it, I'm just saying you have to do certain things that, normally, your own mother would not want you to do, or your acting coach if you had one. But it's fun, and I enjoyed it. I had a great time, and I'm delighted at the response that we got today with the trailer."
